Call for abstracts

If you want to make a lecture please submit your abstract (formatted according to the advices below) before 31.07.2025 to tkuepper@ukaachen.de.

 

Abstract formating

Each participant who wants to have an oral presentation must submit an abstract, see instructions for submission below (1).  Each abstract will be peer reviewed. All accepted abstracts will be published in HPPA in PDF format.

 

  1. General instructions for abstract submission

Abstracts must be submitted as word file in English and should be maximum 400 words long (abstract title, list of authors and references not included) Images, tables and references may be included in the abstract (limit: 1 figure/table per abstract, 5 references).

Abstracts should be as informative as possible and should be adequately ordered in the following sequence and structure:

1st line: Name(s) of author(s)

2nd line: Title

3rd line: Facility of the author(s)

4th+ line: 

Introduction

Objectives

Methods

Results

Consclusions

References (if any, max. 5)

Grant Acknowledgement


2. Instructions for contributions

2.1. Lectures

   - Oral presentation: 20 min. followed by 10 min. discussion

   - Please prepare a Powerpoint presentation and a PDF file of your presentation

   - Ensure good legibility (letters and numbers)

   - All files must be handed stored on a conference computer well in advance
