Approach to the Kührointalm

by car:

To Berchtesgaden, then follow B20 / B305 westward until you reach the bridge to "Gasthof Wimbachklamm" on the left side (7.8 km / 10 min. from Berchtesgaden centre)

by railway/ bus:

Take the railway to Berchtesgaden. In front of the train station (120m) you'll find the bus stop. Take No.846 (starts once an hour here) direction Hintersee, Ramsau b. Berchtesgaden (9 min.). Cross the bridge.

by aircraft:

Next airport: Salzburg. Take bus No. 260 direction Schüttdorf Tischlerhäusl via Zell am See - Saalfelden - Lofer - Unken - Bad Reichenhall to Reichenhall Main Station (15 min.). Take the train to Berchtesgaden Main Station (29 min.). From here take bus No.846 as described above.

Ascent to Kührointalm from parking needs about 1.5 hours. Disabled people please inform us in advance so that we can organize transportation.
